Last Day of School!

It was a very special day for all 2I children on the last day of school. Every child was given a card and they took turns to write well-wishes and messages for their classmates. All of them also received a little note of encouragement from me.

In addition, pupils who showed a great improvement in their English and Mathematics results were presented with a certificate of achievement each. I would like to congratulate these pupils and I hope that every child in 2I would continue to do their best in future.

Happy holidays, my dear darlings! It has been a real pleasure teaching all of you. See you in 2011! (:

P2 Sports Meet

Although 2I did not manage to catch a glimpse of the YOG Flame on Wednesday (11 August), it was still a memorable day for all as the P1 & P2 Sports Meet was also held on that day. It was clear that the children had lots of fun participating in the events. They cheered loudly for their classmates and also their 1I schoolmates during the sports meet. At the end of the day, every child in 2I went home happily with a medal/token as well as the simple multilingual cheer that they had been taught last Friday.

National Day Celebrations

On 6 August 2010, Endeavour Primary had its National Day celebrations. All 2I pupils attended school dressed in red and white. However, this year’s celebrations was different from previous years. Instead of singing songs, an emergency training exercise was held at the community-based level. The whole exercise took place not long after the second recess and ended at about 11.45am. Pupils even had time for a quick snack before dismissal time.

Here are some pictures.

Happy birthday, Singapore!

Racial Harmony Day

On Racial Harmony Day, which was also Rainbow Day 3, pupils from Endeavour Primary came to school in their home clothes. 2I was not an exception as well.  All the children were dressed in their best clothes and they gamely posed for some photos.

During recess, pupils had the opportunity to play some traditional games at the NE corner. Some of 2I children tried the games and enjoyed them. However, they felt that it would be better if they could spend a longer time at the stations.
